UPCOMING:
Michael makes his debut at the historic Theater at Monmouth this summer in Maine! He'll take on a multitude of roles in Richard II, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Shakespeare's iconic character of Jacques in As You Like It, all playing in rep this July and August.
ONGOING:
Michael continues to collaborate on groundbreaking work with Only Make Believe's new endeavor, Online Make Believe, bringing live, interactive theater directly to children living with illness and disability.

ABOUT
Michael attributes his lasting sense of play to a blissfully bucolic upbringing in rural Maine. Michael is a versatile actor, trained in classical text, movement theatre, mime, stage combat, improvisation, dancing, and singing. He has performed on stages across the country and studied abroad in Paris France at Ecole Jacques Lecoq and under Ariane Mnouchkine, legendary director of Théâtre du Soleil.
Michael is a company member of The Gold Dust Orphans, a renowned queer theatre troupe based in Provincetown, Mass and in Washington DC with Only Make Believe, a non-profit performance company that brings imagination to hospitals and specialized facilities that support children coping with illness and disability.
Michael has performed for tens of thousands of audience members over his career, including for Pulitzer Prize, Tony Award, and Emmy Award winner, Tony Kushner; Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Sheldon Harnick; Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cunningham, and iconic filmmaker John Waters.
Currently based in Washington D.C., Michael received his bachelor's from Bowdoin College and his MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre's Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University.
