Throughout the covid-19 pandemic, Michael has had the opportunity to work as an artistic advisor for Olney Theatre Center as well as a contributor of online content to Only Make Believe's new endeavor, Online Make Believe.
Despite the creative restrictions happening in the theater world, at least two productions previously cancelled due to covid-19 have been rescheduled for future and other projects before then are also in the works! More to come soon!
Michael attributes his lasting sense of play to a blissfully bucolic upbringing in rural Maine. Whether it’s been training in mime, movement and theatre at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France or wreaking havok in Boston with the The Gold Dust Orphans theatrical company, or working under Ariane Mnouchkine, legendary director of Théâtre du Soleil, Michael is continually grateful for every opportunity that allows him to explore and improve his craftsmanship.
Currently based in Washington D.C., Michael received a bachelor's from Bowdoin College and an MFA from the Shakespeare Theatre's Academy for Classical Acting at The George Washington University.
